Caring for Antique Quilts & “Button Up, It’s Cold Outside” Workshop

  • Whispering Pines Community Building 1320 Rays Bridge Road Whispering Pines, NC, 28327 United States (map)

On Saturday, October 24th, 2026, Laurie Mayo will present a program about the difference between repairing and conserving antique quilts. What’s the difference between the two and what’s the best choice for your antique quilts?

“Button Up, It’s Cold Outside” Workshop: Following the program, Debbie Wick will teach us her pattern for “Button Up, It’s Cold Outside.” It’s a cute snowman quilt that features lots of cute embellishments and fussy cut designs.  It’s sure to be a fun quilt to make!
