SANDHILLS QUILTERS GUILD

ESTABLISHED 1982

Community Outreach:

One of the goals of the Sandhills Quilters Guild is to promote and perpetuate the art of quilting through outreach and education. We do this by providing quilts for local organizations and by displaying quilts at various venues throughout the year. We share our craft with our community by donating to:

Several Nursing and Children Homes:

All members are asked to donate at least one comfort quilt (approx. 36” x 45”) each year. During the year over 100 quilts and handmade pillowcases are given to several nursing and children’s homes in the Sandhills Area.

Habitat for Humanity:

Our Guild also make quilts specifically for Habitat for Humanity of the Sandhills. The quilts are given to homeowners at their dedication ceremony as a housewarming gift.  These quilts range in size from 50” x 65” up to any bed size.  Visit the Sandhills Habitat for Humanity at
