Pink Ribbon Quilt In 2000, Teena Little challenged the Guild to create a "Pink Ribbon" quilt. The stars in the quilt were created with fabric provided by breast cancer survivors and family members, and the quilt was tied with pink ribbon bows. After being displayed at the Breast Cancer Research Golf Tournament in May, 2000, the quilt was auctioned off for $21,000. for the benefit of Breast Cancer Research. The quilt then traveled in a special display case with the LPGA Medical Exposition during the 2001 LPGA tour season, returning to Southern Pines when the US Women's Open was played at Pine Needles Golf Course.
